Security Training
The National Certificate in Security programme aims to provide you with comprehensive security and emergency response training designed to maximise career and higher-level employment opportunities.
The programme will give you a formal qualification from which to gain employment.

People entering this programme commence studying towards the National Certificate in Security Level 2 and then move on to the Level 3 content including a site security strand.
Our programmes also involve paid placements in field situations, so you will gain practical experience.
Dates/Times/Duration
The National Certificate in Security programme is 39 weeks in duration.
Commences 1 February - 10 December 2010
In addition to the 39 study weeks there will be 6 weeks of holiday breaks, which coincide with the school holidays.

Acceptance will be based on the first 12 applicants successfully interviewed.
Course fee $2,850.00
(includes NZQA Certification Costs)
Course related costs $242.00
(includes Boots, trousers and polo)
Programme fees cover the costs of all tuition, workbooks and manuals, field visit transportation, stationery, copies of relevant statutes, a gym membership, security licensing, a uniform allocation, NZQA Framework hook-on fees and unit standard credit and qualification registration fees.
If you receive a benefit, you may also be entitled to a Training Incentive Allowance.
