Caregivers, Support Workers, Care Assistants
COURSE INFORMATION
There is a growing demand for trained and qualified men and women able to provide safe, effective and compassionate care for people in either residential or community settings.
Get qualified to work in home-based care, rest homes or community homes. Or, go on to further training in disability, mental health, support work, diversional therapy or general nursing.
HOW LONG IS THE COURSE?
This course runs for 20 weeks, 5 days a week, 9 - 3pm
Semester 1 1 February - 2 July 2010
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
All applicants will be interviewed and must prove to be suitable for work in the care industry.
QUALIFICATIONS
On successful completion of the course, students will receive
New Qualification:
National Certificate in Community Support Services (Core Competencies) (Level 3)
