Administration / IT Officer

FULL TIME POSITION - Based in Levin

Horowhenua Learning Centre (HLC) requires a highly motivated administration officer to provide reception and administrative support at our Levin campus. This role also includes responsibility for managing HLC’s website and social media profile along with basic server and computer maintenance.

Applicants must have:

  • Experience with reception / office administration tasks

  • Exceptional customer service skills

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office

  • Excellent self-management skills

It would also be an advantage to have:

  • Knowledge of social media platforms

  • An understanding of simple IT maintenance tasks such as server and printer updates

Business Tutor

FULL TIME POSITION - Based in Levin

HLC is seeking applications from a highly motivated, qualified and experienced person to deliver qualifications in the NZ Certificate in Business (Administration and Technology) Level 3 and 4 programmes.

Applicants must have:

  • A tertiary teaching qualification

  • A business qualification at Level 5 or above

  • Full drivers licence

  • Effective communication skills

  • Ability to plan and coordinate the programme

  • Strong motivational and team building skills

It would also be an advantage to have:

  • An understanding of NZQA framework and unit standard delivery

  • NCALNE
